Trans positivity, told through a chat and a vignette

For my Bachelor Project, I have chosen the topic of transgender identity and the positive aspects of being trans. Too often we see the negative aspects, the pain and hurting of people due to their transness. But I wanted to focus on the positive side. I wanted to show an uplifting and hopeful picture. After thorough research, I started experimenting with prototypes in the shape of small vignettes/mini-games.

For my Master Project, I created a playable demo that consists of 2 main components: a group chat and a vignette. In the group chat you play Kasper, a questioning youth. With the help of his new trans friends, he explores the exciting world of gender, expression and being yourself.
And that's the T v1 & 2
This vignet deals with HRT (hormone replacement therapy) and the positive changes it brings, mentally and physically.
Afternoon Acitivty & Queer Up!
The interactive Twine story follows a transfeminine person who is just discovering her gender identity. She goes to her first queer event and meets interesting people that will help her on her journey.
EU
My first experience with Bitsy tells a story about gender euphoria. The opposite of dysphoria, which is more often mentioned and discussed. In this story I tried to show how gender euphoria can help trans people find themselves.
Spring Time Scribes - Group chat
A short prototype in Twine where I experiment with group chat dialogue and meaningful but subtle choices for the player.
3 Queers & a Question Mark
This is the final demo of my Master project. In a lighthearted manner, you explore several topics around gender, identity and being yourself.
